Dengue Fever
What is it?
Dengue is a viral disease transmitted to humans by the bite of mosquitoes. The mosquitoes that carry the dengue viruses are found in tropical cities.
Symptoms
Sudden onset of high fever, sever headache, joint/muscle pain, ,nausea, vomiting, and rashes that spread from torso to arms, legs, and face.
Transmission
Transmitted by mosquitoes that carry the dengue virus.

Diarrhea
What is it?
Traveler’s diarrhea is a stomach and intestinal infection that occurs as a result of unsanitary handling of food. There is a high risk of getting Traveler’s diarrhea by eating food from streeet vendors. Usually lasts from 3 to 7 days.
Symptoms
Abrupt onset of diarrhea, nausea and vomiting, bloating, urgent need to have a bowel movement, weakness or discomfort, explosive and painful gas, cramps, loss of appetite.
Transmission
By eating food from food handlers who do not wash their hands properly after they use the bathroom.

What is it?
Diptheria is a disease of the respiratory passages, transmitted from person to person, which causes obstruction of breathing and heart inflammation.
Symptoms
Lockjaw. Obstructed breathing and heart inflammation.
Transmission
Occurs if contaminated soil enters cuts or wounds.
