Yellow Fever
What is it?
A viral illness, carried by certain species of mosquitoes in Central and South America and in topical regions of Africa. It causes damage to the liver, kindey, heart and gastrointestinal tract.
Symptoms
Nausea, vomiting, bleeding, abdominal pains, and jaundice.
Transmission
Infected mosquitoes primarily spread the disease among forest-dwelling primates, and the urban cyle in which the infection is spread from human to human.
