One of the most pervasive and deceptive dangers to the church in the last 200 years is "easy-believism" or "cheap grace". What is it? What is the danger? And what is the fix?

One of the dangers the church of Jesus Christ faces today is a departure from the anchor of Scripture. As preachers slowly (or rapidly) drift from preaching the truths of God's word, error slithers in.

God wants His church to be pure and holy. It started out that way, but after ungodliness has been mixed in, the church has become powerless, impotent and atrophied. How can the church become pure again?

This is a wonderful gospel story of a man who was touched by God's grace. See how he was...what happened...and how he responded. Jesus sees and cares about us.

When we live in this crazy world, we tend to get caught up in the philosophy and the pattern of the world. But the Christian must remember our God. He is sovereign and supreme over all things.

Gideon showed some very promising qualities, but he ended on a poor note. What was his problem? Why was he so weak and fearful? Perhaps this sermon will answer those questions.

Sin is bad. The church of Jesus Christ has sort of made detente with sin. We decided we can live with it as long as it isn't exposed. Well that's a lie. Sin will have consequences. Be warned.

Gideon has his orders and he obeys, even through his fears. When God comes to us, He has a purpose for us. We need to get busy, tear down the altars of the enemy and take a stand. There will be opposition, but God is with those He calls.
