John 10:278 God wants to speak into your life. In fact, he might already be speaking. Maybe the problem is that you just aren't very good at listening. So pray that you would be able to start to tell, and sense and feel and know what it is to have God talk with you. Then, pray for discernment. Pray that those feelings and those senses will turn into words of guidance, and your relationship with God will develop to such a level where you can talk with him and know his voice and know his will.

Genesis 32:22-32 All of us have wrestled with God at times as we struggle to do our things in our way. We've wrestled with God as we tried to understand why bad things happen to good people. We've wrestled with God and his call on our lives. We've wrestled with God over the things he has asked us to give up for him. We've all wrestled with God and so we can all learn some valuable lessons from Jacob, the Wounded Wrestler.

John 13:31-38 On the cross Jesus reveals once again what God is really like. On the cross we see the love and mercy of God, the grace and justice of God. On the cross we see the righteousness, the holiness, and the power of God. It is all displayed there, and Jesus willingly gave Himself upon the cross so that we may see all that. Jesus is telling us, "Whenever we show the world the love and mercy and grace of God in our lives, then God is being glorified through us."

Matthew 24:36, 42-44, 50, 25:13 We need to be aware of the presence of Christ in the here and now so when He returns physically you'll be prepared, if indeed He comes during our lifetime.

Revelation 20:11-15 It is the new heaven and new earth. All that is terrible about this world is gone. All that is Godly about this world is magnified. No more death or mourning or crying or pain. God will be among us. And we get to reign with Him.

Matthew 8:18-22, Luke 14:25-27 Jesus is saying, if you want to be my disciple, if you want to follow me, here is what you are called to do. Place me first above everything else in your life and then before you say you are willing to do that, you had better count the cost, see if you are willing to make such a sacrifice for me, see if you are really willing to pay that kind of price? You need to see if you can really keep your eye on the prize?

Matthew 6:5-15: When we share a prayer of devotion and praise it costs us very little. When we begin to declare statements of faith we are giving our minds a direction. When we bring to God our desires they are revealed as either basic needs or personal wants. This can help purify our prayer life. When it comes to Direction we are giving the Lord our future.

Matthew 7:1-11 When we get our wisdom from the Lord we will be discerning in life, but not judgmental. We will discern the good from the evil but at the same time we will leave all judgment to God.

Luke 2:41-52 "You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had. Though he was God, he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to. Instead, he gave up his divine privileges; he took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being. When he appeared in human form, he humbled himself in obedience to God." (Philippians 2:5-8)
