Summary

The story of Jesus talking to the Samaritan woman at the well (John 4) has many lessons for us. Typically we see this as a story of forgiveness. But here is another aspect to consider. This is also a story of Jesus going to a land intentionally to meet a woman there who would share the gospel with her whole community. This is a story of how Jesus used ordinary people to create a community church.
