Sometimes, we experience things in life that cause us to wonder, "why would God do that?" Sometimes people approach us with that same questions. It can seem like God does things that are contrary to His character, or that don't agree with what we understand to be true of Him. In Acts 5, the story of Ananias and Sapphira is one that seems to contradict the grace and mercy that are such an important part of the new covenant.
