Summary

Do Not Fear “For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and love, and of a sound mind.” The word from God today for us is “do not fear.” We know that we live in a world that gives us plenty of opportunities to have fear and anxiety. From being afraid of the dark as a child to being afraid disease and death as an adult we have all experienced fear. Yet we know that the Bible tells us to be anxious for nothing! When we experience fear we can do one of two things. Focus on the problem or focus on God. Three factors that should encourage us to overcome our fear are as follows. God is For us. God is on our side. We are on the right side. Regardless of what happens in this crazy world, the Bible says we win! Good will ultimately prevail over evil.
