The General Board of Global Ministries (GBGM) connects the church in mission. This is accomplished by sending missionaries, including young adults, from everywhere and to everywhere; collaborating and engaging with volunteers; evangelizing and church planting through mission initiatives; addressing diseases of poverty and global health; and responding to natural and civil disasters.

United Methodists join with other United Methodists, local churches, conferences and partners to accomplish far more than can be done by an individual or a single congregation.
Called by God through Jesus Christ, Partners-in-Mission (PIM) of the Texas Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church is committed to mission by proclaiming ,
serving and witnessing in love the Gospel of Jesus Christ through hands-on mission work projects to persons in need throughout the world.
PIM believes that Christians are truly called to missions by God through Jesus Christ. Volunteers serve all people in all places whatever the circumstances or need. Whether we are a few blocks from home or in another country, PIM seeks to radiate the love of Jesus Christ and serve him with gladness.
We do not go just to complete a project, but we go to joyfully serve Christ and express Christ's love by all that we do while on the mission.
